How to use the login-free service portal to send payroll-relevant data to your payroll service

Here you'll learn how to send data securely to your payroll service through the service portal. You don't need to log in to project b. - accessing the portal via link is quick and easy.

From the service portal, you can submit employee questionnaires, business information, or trigger immediate notifications.

Prerequisites

The service portal is only available if your payroll service has activated it for your company.

It is designed for companies that want to submit payroll-relevant information to their payroll service but don't need a login-protected interface in project b.

A login-protected interface would also provide access to features such as documents, employee management, absences, and more. This is not possible through the service portal.

What is the service portal?

The service portal lets you fill out and submit selected digital forms to your payroll service without an account.

Your payroll service provides you with a link to the service portal. There you'll find all forms that have been enabled for you.

Important: Save the link to the service portal and treat it like your login credentials. The link is only intended for your company and is not meant to be shared with others.

Clicking on a form opens a new browser window. Once you open a form, you can save the form link and return to it at any time. This applies until the form has been submitted. You can pause filling in the data at any time and submit it later.

Save this link if you want to continue filling in the form later — your draft remains accessible through it until you submit the form.

Form types in the service portal

Submit an employee questionnaire

To capture employee data for the first time and submit complete information for the initial payroll run, use the employee questionnaire in the service portal.

For detailed instructions, see the article Fill out an employee questionnaire via link.

Submit business information

To send business information to your payroll service — for example during initial onboarding or when company details change — use the business information form in the service portal.

For detailed instructions, see the article Submit business information for the first time via link.

Submit immediate notifications

Immediate notifications (Sofortmeldungen) are reports to the social insurance system used in certain industries and situations to prove that employment begins on time and in compliance with regulations.

To trigger an immediate notification, use the immediate notifications form in the service portal.
