Here you'll learn how to submit your business information to your payroll service for the first time via link. This is an essential step in preparing your first payroll run. You'll also find explanations of key fields along the way.
Submit business information via link
The business information form lets you submit your company's key details to your payroll service.
This data is the foundation for setting up and processing your payroll. The form also captures information that streamlines workflows and collaboration with your payroll service.
Without these essential company details, all subsequent steps on your payroll service's side remain blocked. Please make sure to submit the form completely and promptly.
Later, you can view and edit your business information in project b. under the Settings menu, in the Company details section.
Prerequisites
You have access to the form:

Open the form and complete the steps
For a detailed description of how forms work in the service portal, see our article: Service portal.
Important security notice
Anyone with the link can view and edit the captured data.
Do not share the link to the business information form or to the service portal. The same notice is displayed on the form's start page.
Form structure
The form guides you through all required information step by step. Particularly complex fields include a tooltip to help you with your input.
Use Back and Next as well as the sidebar to navigate between steps. Resolve any validation errors (e.g. required fields or format issues) before submitting the form.
If you close the form without completing and submitting it, your entries are saved as a draft.
Copy and save the link to the form so you can return at any time to continue editing or submit your data.
Additionally, if important reference numbers are still missing, you can mark them as missing by clicking the corresponding button. This lets you submit the form even if you don't have all required details yet.
On the left side of the form, you'll see an overview and table of contents for all sections:
